The QR Code Generator lets you create fully customised, print-safe QR codes that point to any URL, text, or contact information, directly from the Insert<\/strong> ribbon.<\/p>\n

Inserting a QR Code\"Inserting<\/span><\/h3>\n

To insert a QR code:<\/p>\n

    Go to Insert > QR Code<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Enter the URL or text content for the QR code.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Customise the appearance using the options below.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Click Insert<\/strong> to place the QR code on the canvas.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Standard –<\/strong> Default square QR code.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Rounded Corners –<\/strong> QR code with softly rounded module corners.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Circular Badge –<\/strong> QR code masked into a perfect circle.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Print-Safe Canvas Bake Method\"Print-Safe<\/span><\/h3>\n

      WebKit-based print engines (Chrome, Safari, and Edge) have a long-standing bug where CSS border-radius<\/span> and clip-path<\/span> shapes applied to images are ignored during printing, causing circular or rounded QR codes to revert to plain squares in your PDF.<\/p>\n

      To bypass this, Open Publisher uses a Canvas Bake Method every time a QR code is exported:<\/p>\n

        The generator fetches the raw QR image and draws it to an invisible canvas.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      2. \n

        It physically cuts out the transparent corners pixel-by-pixel.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      3. \n

        A visible boundary border is drawn around the result.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      4. \n

        The final output is exported as a flat PNG with pre-cut transparent corners already baked in.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
