Open Publisher produces print-quality PDF output via the native browser Save as PDF workflow, with an automated pre-processing pipeline that ensures everything in your document – effects, crops, filters, and Master Pages – is accurately captured in the final file.<\/p>\n

How to Export as PDF<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Go to File > Export to PDF<\/strong>, or click the Export PDF<\/strong> button in the Export group of the File ribbon.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    A guidance dialog opens explaining the process. Open Publisher opens your system’s print menu and instructs you to select \u201cSave as PDF\u201d<\/strong> as the printer destination.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    PDF Pre-Processing Pipeline<\/span><\/h3>\n

    The PDF export uses the same high-resolution print engine as standard printing, with the following
    \nadditional pre-processing steps applied automatically
    \nbefore the snapshot is taken:<\/p>\n

      WordArt –<\/strong> Converted to a 1:1 PNG using the Canvas Compositor.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      CSS filters –<\/strong>\u00a0Hue rotation, brightness, contrast, and other image filters are baked into images via canvas rendering.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Shape crops, clip-paths, and 3D rotations –<\/strong> All flattened and rasterised.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Master Page headers and footers –<\/strong> Correctly applied to every page in the document.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n
