Managing Pages<\/span><\/h2>\n

Open Publisher makes it easy to structure your document exactly as you need it, whether you are designing a single-page flyer or a multi-page booklet.<\/p>\n

\"\"Adding Pages<\/span><\/h3>\n

New pages can be added to your document in several ways:<\/p>\n

  • \n

    Click the Add Page<\/strong> button at the bottom of the left-hand Navigation Pane.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Right-click the blank grey area of the Navigation Pane and choose Insert Page<\/strong> from the context menu.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Right-click anywhere in the workspace background (outside the page canvas) and choose Add New Blank Page<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Duplicating, Moving, and Deleting Pages<\/span><\/h3>\n

    \"\"Right-clicking on any page thumbnail in the Navigation Pane opens a context menu with the following page management options:<\/p>\n

      Duplicate Page<\/strong> \u2014 creates an exact copy of the selected page and inserts it directly after it.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Move Page Up \/ Move Page Down<\/strong> \u2014 shifts the page one position in the document order.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Delete Page<\/strong> \u2014 removes the page permanently.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Page Notes<\/span><\/h3>\n

      For larger documents, it can be helpful to label individual pages so they are easy to identify without clicking into them. The Page Notes feature lets you attach a short custom identifier to any page.<\/p>\n

        Right-click a page thumbnail and select Add Note<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Type a short label (e.g., Front Cover<\/em>, TOC<\/em>, or Back Cover<\/em>).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      3. \n

        The note appears directly beneath the page thumbnail in a bold, teal-coloured font.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Note: Page Notes are purely for your own organisational use within the editor; they do not affect printed output or exported files.<\/em><\/p>\n

        Auto Page Numbering<\/span><\/h3>\n

        \"\"For longer documents, Open Publisher provides dynamic page numbering. Navigate to the Insert<\/strong> ribbon tab and click Page Number<\/strong>.
