Over the years we have won many awards for our services to the community and for our relentless work in keeping
hazardous waste out of landfill
– here’s just a few:
Wakefield
Business Awards
PEOPLE MAKE PERFORMANCE
These awards celebrate the best in businesses throughout the Wakefield district and the category we won was for “People make Performance”. Rather fitting as the core of our business
is training up and getting people into jobs.
At the end of the awards ceremony at the Cedar Court in Wakefield, Keith (DM), Neil (CEO) and Mike (Chairman) pose with the trophy.
Keith said “We were particularly pleased to win this category because it is the essence of what we do at Airedale. From the Chairman of the board who is himself a volunteer, Our CEO,
Development Manager, Warehouse Manager through the technicians, the driver, our apprentices, our many volunteers (not all are press-ganged by the jobs center) and our school work experience
students, they all do a great job.
It really is all about the people”
